Program Directors

Every resident floor has an interdisciplinary team lead by a Program Director. Program Directors work both day and evening hours throughout the week. Please contact the floor Program Director with any resident care related questions.

Melissa Booth

LICSW, 2nd floor Program Director

mab@andrewres.com

Melissa completed her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and the Sociology of Law at the University of Minnesota and her Master of Social Work at the combined University of St. Kate’s/ University of St. Thomas program. She has experience working in both Community Health and Community Mental Health Programs, as well as working in multiple roles at Andrew Residence. When not working, Melissa spends time attending concerts, traveling, attending sporting events, hiking, and reading at least 100 books per year.

Shayna Prochovnick

LGSW, 3rd floor Program Director

sfp@andrewresidence.com

Shayna completed her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Macalester College and Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota in 2023. She has almost a decade of experience working in multiple roles at Andrew Residence. Shayna enjoys the importance placed on working across interdisciplinary fields at Andrew Residence and the unique ability to get to know residents as individuals, gained only through long term care. In her free time, Shayna enjoys taking care of her many plants, going for walks and exploring new restaurants with friends and family.

Jenna DeSmidt

LICSW, 4th floor Program Director

JD2@andrewres.com

Jenna received her Bachelor and Master degrees in Social Work from the University of North Dakota. She started at Andrew Residence as a 5th floor social worker in 2018 and quickly grew passion for providing mental health services in a residential setting. Jenna enjoys interacting with residents in the comfort of their own home, whether it is chit-chatting about the weather or supporting someone through a crisis. Outside of Andrew Residence, Jenna has experience working with survivors of sexual violence and elders in a nursing home setting. When not at work, Jenna enjoys watching reality television, tending to her house plants, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Claire Warren

LGSW, 5th floor Program Director

csw@andrewres.com

Claire graduated in 2015 with her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Iowa and brings her twin passions of community-level advocacy and mental health care to her work at Andrew Residence. These passions led her to Andrew Residence in 2021 where she was quickly drawn to the friendly atmosphere, breadth and depth of expertise around mental health treatment, and the person-centered practices. Claire brings the social work framework of looking at a person within the context of their environment to her practice at Andrew Residence. In her free time, Claire can be found spending time with friends and family, going out to eat, and in her garden.

What People Are Saying

"I've worked in so many different kinds of facilities in the past, and Andrew is unequivocally the most supportive, best place I've ever worked. I feel respected and valued every day. I work with colleagues who are all committed to our residents, to each other, and to the facility as a whole. If I there is an unscheduled emergency arising during the work day, my boss doesn't even question letting me go. My colleagues and I are all committed to one another to make sure workloads are covered during vacations and other emergencies. While it would be great to make a higher salary, I work at Andrew because it feels like family. You cannot put a price on that."
